💖 From Two Childhood Friends to Sourcing Curators

Welcome to Sumeru Shelf! We are two long-time Danmei and Otome collectors (10+ years!) who have shared a deep passion for anime, comics, and novels since middle school.

After graduate school, our paths split—one of us went to Canada (and eventually returned to Beijing to work in China's entertainment industry), while the other settled in the United States. Despite the physical distance, our shared love for these stories and characters never faded.

Today, we run Sumeru Labs as our main content & script studio, and Sumeru Shelf is our passionate side project—a curated showcase to share authentic collectibles and beautiful fan-creations with fellow fans worldwide.

🛍️ Where Do Our Items Come From?

80% Personal Collections:Most items listed here are official, licensed collectibles straight from our own shelves.

Handmade Fan-Creations: A small selection of unique, handmade works created by ourselves, our US co-founder, and our talented artist friends in China.

Sourced Collections: For rare official releases, our founder (based in Beijing) hand-picks them directly from local collab pop-ups. For items outside of China, we occasionally secure them through our trusted local guide network in Japan, Thailand, and South Korea.

📦 Logistics & Shipping (Please Read)

Depending on where the item is currently stored, we offer two main shipping methods:

US Local Direct Ship: Items already stocked in our US warehouse will be processed and shipped by our US co-founder directly to your door (typically delivered in 3-7 days).

Consolidated Shipping via Beijing Hub:For smaller items or direct Beijing stock, we consolidate them at our Beijing hub first and ship them in bulk cycles to the US before final local delivery (typically takes about 30-45 days). This helps us offer the lowest possible pricing and shipping rates.
