A Note from the Curators
We are two childhood friends who have shared a deep passion for Danmei and Otome stories for over 20 years. Today, our founder works in creative content industry, while our co-founder manages our local warehouse in the United States.
Sumeru Shelf is our shared treasury. Most of what you see here are official, licensed collections from our own shelves, alongside unique handmade creations by our co-founder and artist friends. Depending on the item, we either ship locally from the US or consolidate them at our Beijing hub to bring you the best shipping rates. We hope these items bring as much joy to your shelf as they did to ours!

Are these items used?
Yes. Most items on Sumeru Shelf are pre-owned. Please expect normal signs of use rather than brand-new condition. Any notable flaws are shown in the photos and noted in the description. Feel free to message us for more pictures before ordering if condition matters to you.
What shipping methods do you offer, and how long does delivery take?
Our items are located in different places and ship in different ways. Please check the shipping type labeled on each item before ordering. The times below are estimates—actual delivery depends on logistics and customs:
① In Stock — Direct Ship (Local) — The item is already with us in the US. Ships within 3 business days of your order, typically arriving in about 7 days. Fastest option.
② Single-Item Direct Ship (Beijing / Fukuoka / Bangkok / Busan) — The item ships individually from Beijing (China), Fukuoka (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), or Busan (Korea), typically arriving in about 20 days.
③ Consolidated Shipping (Beijing) — Smaller items are consolidated in Beijing and shipped together, typically arriving in about 30 days. Lower priced, but requires waiting for the consolidation cycle.
④ Official Pre-Order & Proxy Purchase — Official event and offline-event items from mainland China, available regardless of region—we can source them. These follow the official release and proxy timeline. This is the longest and least fixed wait—please follow our event news for updates. Usually the best price, so please order only if you're comfortable waiting.

Will I be charged customs or duties?
No. Any applicable customs duties are already included in the listed price. You won't be asked to pay anything extra on delivery.
What's your return policy?
As all items are pre-owned, all sales are final. Please review the description and photos carefully before purchasing. If your item arrives significantly not as described or damaged in transit, contact us within 3 days of delivery and we'll work it out with you.
